The National Research Nuclear University MEPhI in cooperation with the Regional Network for Education and Training in Nuclear Technology (STAR-NET) holds the International Conference for young scientists, specialists and post-graduates on Nuclear Reactor Physics – «VOLGA-2018». The conference will be held from 3 to 7 September 2018 at Health resort ‘Volga», Tverskaya oblast, Russia.
Volga 2018
The conference has been held since 1979 and is intended to provide an opportunity to exchange experience in the design, operation and modeling of nuclear reactors, as well as share practical approaches to training that can be applied in various educational programmes. The conference is devoted to the sustainable development of nuclear technologies, the current challenges and trends in nuclear reactors and the nuclear fuel cycle.

• Features of fast neutron reactors
• Challenges in transition to a closed nuclear fuel cycle
• Technical (modeling) support for operating and projected nuclear reactors
• Test tasks, codes, databases and complex calculations of nuclear reactors
• Nuclear education and nuclear knowledge management

Conference languages: Russian and English.

There is no registration fee.

The possibility of extending the deadline will be announced additionally.

Publications: The selected abstracts will be published in journal indexed in Scopus and/or Web of Science.
