Third edition of Academic Forum for Nuclear Energy will take place at AGH University of Science and Technology on 16th to 18th of May 2018 in Krakow. The forum is an annual conference for students from fields ranging from nuclear energy to other uses of nuclear techniques like nuclear chemistry or medicine. It is organized by Department of Nuclear Energy and Students Science Association “Uranium” (Faculty of Energy and Fuels, AGH-UST) in cooperation with Polish Nuclear Society Young Generation Forum and Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences and with a support of the Regional Network STAR-NET.
First day of the conference will include lectures by invited guests as well as students’ debate about future of nuclear power in Poland. For the second day a series of workshops is planned followed by students’ presentations of their own work. Presenters will also take part in the contest for best presentations. On the last day of the conference participants will visit laboratories and industrial facilities in Krakow.
